Unlike the residential vacuums, commercial vacuums have a ground fault shield. You can tell if your vacuum cleaner has a ground protector if the end of the plug contains three prongs. A ground protector is an advantage because it guarantees the safety of the operator if ever the cord is detached or severed by a sharp object. This type of vacuum cleaner typically has two motors: the one that operates the vacuum and the one that drives the brush. 3. The Back Pack Vacuums. This type of vacuum is typically made up of a cylinder or a canister that is connected to a wand or baton with an extended hose. The canister of the back pack vacuum is made from light materials such as resin compounds or plastic. The canister also includes the motor and the filter bag on both ends. The hose is attached to the upper end of the vacuum, and it can fit with all the other attachments that you need for cleaning. This type of vacuum is ideal for cleaning those difficult to reach areas. Like other vacuums, back pack vacuum is also portable and mostly used for commercial cleaning purposes. 4. Wide Area Vacuums. Wide vacuum has a measurement of 3 ft wide. This type of vacuum is excellent for large and open areas such as hotels, conference centers and halls. This is also much efficient to use compared to other types. It saves time and effort since it can cut your vacuuming time for up to 50%. This vacuum also has a better brush plus a heavy duty motor. The trash or debris area of this vacuum is also large, so you can use it for a longer time without empting. 5. Wet Dry Vacuums. This type of vacuums are said to be efficient for commercial and residential use. The price of this disposable vacuum usually ranges from $30 to $ 600 dollars. This vacuum can last for about 3 years with proper use. Wet dry vacuum is very ideal for cleaning up mess especially wet floors.
